I recently viewed the film "Affair of State," and I must admit it was quite unsettling to watch with another individual in the house who is under the age of 18. The movie itself was compelling, delving into the murky world of politics and the questionable actions that take place within it. It sheds light on how politicians, their spouses, and others seem to evade consequences for their actions, even when facing serious charges. The film highlights the corruption within our world and the US government system, where those in power often escape accountability. It portrays a chilling reality where the government silences those who pose a threat by resorting to extreme measures, such as murder. This movie serves as a wake-up call for viewers to pay closer attention to the world around them. However, the film's excessive focus on sex and sexual encounters from start to finish is a major drawback. The lead actor's recurring roles in films involving intimate scenes, whether with men or women, may overshadow the film's overall message. In conclusion, "Affair of State" is a thought-provoking film that may leave viewers feeling conflicted.
