Subarahi! Films are judged by story, acting, filming/camera and personal taste. In this case, if you like the very best story, incredible heartfelt and natural acting, a committed film crew and a love for the beauty and natural sights of Japan, then here is a movie for you. Not that well known despite its merits the film goes to the heart of nature and examines the father/daughter relationships, a changing of generations, puberty and the beauty of nature. It is glorious and a classic for the ages. - XFANSD
