Isabel the Musical is a joyful and emotionally rich film that draws you in from the opening scene and stays with you long after the final song. It’s beautifully made, full of heart, and lifted by two extraordinary talents. First, let’s talk about Lisa Toh. She gives a stunning performance as Isabel. She’s not just acting — she becomes Isabel. Her presence is honest, vulnerable, and powerful. You believe every word she says and every emotion she expresses. It’s a role that requires depth, range, and subtlety, and Lisa brings all of that and more. She lights up the screen and makes you care deeply about the character and her journey. And then there’s the music. Maria Vicente, who wrote and produced the score, has created something truly special. Her music is the heart of the film. It’s emotional, memorable, and incredibly well-crafted. The songs feel like they were written straight from the soul and they move the story forward in beautiful and unexpected ways.
